MEDIA & ARTS
When he isn't honing his craft for educating, Jason functions independently as a sound engineer, voice actor, and business manager. He has assisted with numerous musical projects, as well as consulting teams in the fields of arts, designing, and leadership.
Jason was a voice actor and sound engineer for the hit indie platforming game, Freedom Planet, which rocketed through the online gaming community Steam in 2014, and is currently on the Nintendo Wii U and PS4. Jason currently works for Galaxy Trail on their sound and voice acting team.
Jason has been a long time team member of Lonebot, a four-man team based in Israel. Since 2013 he has been the official Audio Designer and Composer for their entire catalogue of "game jam" and commercial releases. Lonebot's current games on the market include Monstre Du Coiffure, and Infiniroom. Both are available on iOS and Android.
Jason takes pride in working with smaller development across the world. He has worked with Australian developer, Iron Fist Studios, for their first mobile release, Iron Finger. He is also working with Miami based designers, GoodWarGames, for their respective titles, Wasabi Horizon (PC), and Cattle Punk (iOS/Android).
Jason also works closely with his team at EXTRATERRIBLE, and continues to build new iOS and Android based games, as well independent ventures on the media front. Their current project, "This Controller Sucks" is an interactive showcase involving intuitively horrible controllers that highlight good design, and force gamers to think out side the box. (You can visit examples of these in the design section!)
Jason currently resides in Flower Mound, Texas with his wife, Emily, and their two huskies Ridley, and Raphaelle. He spends his free time reading, pursuing various creative energies, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
